We’re excited to announce that Mama Cafe, our free support time for breastfeeding moms will be moving to Fridays and moving to ISD 196’s Dakota Valley Learning Center  at  4679 144th St W in Apple Valley in room 216. Because we will be using District facilities, we will be following their calendar. Dates for the remainder of 2016 are:

Oct. 14, 28
Nov. 11, 18
Dec. 9, 16, 23

Facilitated by Christina Smith, RN, Certified Breastfeeding Specialist

Once a week, join us for a mid-morning, informal get-together that provides community breastfeeding support. Check in and connect with other pregnant and nursing moms in a relaxed atmosphere.
We do focus on helping breastfeeding mothers with the ups and downs of the nursing relationship, but we are always happy to help these moms with other parenting questions. Mama Cafe is on a drop-in basis; you do not need to register to attend, and you can attend as often as you wish! Older children are welcome, too. Bring your baby, we’ll provide the refreshments. Donations are always welcome.
